Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp. President and CEO Noel F. Manankil says “May is a good month for Clark International Airport. We celebrated our first anniversary at the new terminal and we recorded this significant increase.”

LIPAD, the consortium that manages CRK, attributes this 217% passenger increase to the growing demand for air travel and the addition of new routes at the airport.

Compared to April 2023, the airport received 54% more passengers, with April passengers totaling 123,161. Domestic passengers were 35,814 and international passengers were 87,347.

Total number of flights in May were 1,537. 878 of these flights were international and 659 were domestic.

That is an increase of 71% compared to April 2023, which had 898 flights. Compared to May 2022, that is a 290% increase in air traffic.

A total of 13 airlines operated in May, which include 5 local and 8 international companies. These serviced 19 routes, which include 9 domestic and 10 international.

These are Bacolod, Caticlan, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Cebu, Coron, El Nido, General Santos, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Bangkok, Busan, Doha, Dubai, Hong Kong, Incheon, Macau, Narita, Singapore, and Taipei.

Clark International Airport is an international gateway located in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. Situated approximately 80 kilometers north of Manila, it serves as an alternative to the congested Ninoy Aquino International Airport. With a sprawling land area and modern infrastructure, the airport offers a range of domestic and international flights, connecting travelers to various destinations worldwide. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a spacious terminal, efficient immigration and customs services, and an expanding network of airlines. Clark International Airport plays a vital role in promoting tourism, trade, and economic development in the region, providing a convenient and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
